We are delighted to invite everyone this Saturday, 26 March, for Lete Stori featuring Jagwa Music. Lete Stori is an interactive dialogue session sharing the lesser known stories behind the talent, followed by a live music performance.
Our guests this month will be Jagwa Music, who play a unique style of music with chakacha roots known as mchiriku. The group uses traditional & analog instruments including a small hand-held keyboard, several drums, whistles and a battered old stool, which is beaten with sticks for extra percussive flavour.
Jagwa Music are guaranteed to deliver an explosive show that will move your feet and pick up the dust with their famous songs like “Mpango mzima”, “Kondakta”, “Asha” and many more…..
The event also includes an exhibition by our current Artist in Residence Klaus Hartmann, from Germany.
Nafasi is always family friendly and welcoming to all. During the event, our Children’s Space will be open for young people to explore their creativity!
