Harrieth Charles
Harrieth Charles is a 25 year old visual artist, currently living in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. She started practicing Art since 2000, whilst on that journey she found her love and talent for painting in 2016. In her words “Doing Art has always been and always be a way of awakening my senses. Art opens my heart and mind to possibilities and fuels the imagination.”
A member of Nafasi Art Space since 2018, she has participated in several group exhibitions including Otherworldy (Sept 2019), Inheritance (June 2019). Most recently she was selected to be part of the first Zanzibar Visual Arts Festival at the Hifadi building in Stonetown (Oct 2019)
